Difficulty in starting

Phenomenon: no response or low starting speed after key twisting.

Possible causes: battery loss (voltage <12V), fuel filter clogging, preheating plug damage, starter motor carbon brush wear.

Solution: Replace the battery, clean/replace the filter, and repair the preheater plug and starter motor.

Unstable engine idle speed

Phenomenon: Rotation speed fluctuates, accompanied by shaking.

Possible causes: clogged injectors, dirty air filter, carbonized throttle.

Solution: Clean the injector and throttle, replace the air filter.

Decline in power

Phenomenon: weak acceleration, poor hill climbing performance.

Possible causes: insufficient diesel pump oil supply, turbocharger failure, insufficient cylinder pressure.

Solution: adjust the diesel pump, overhaul the supercharger, test cylinder pressure and replace the piston ring or valve.
