Maintenance points for crawler dump trucks

I. Daily maintenance (daily)

Oil and fluid: check engine oil, fuel, coolant level, transmission/hydraulic oil for leakage and deterioration.

Traveling system: track tension (sink 30-50mm), remove mud and sand; check wear of track plate, chain link, driving wheel/guide wheel, add grease to movable parts.

Power and transmission: clean air filter, firm battery stakes; listen to the engine noise after starting, whether the gear shift is smooth or not, and whether the track has any deviation.

Hydraulic pressure and operation: the dumping bucket lifts/falls smoothly, no oil leakage from oil cylinder; no abnormal sound from hydraulic pump and valve.

Second, regular maintenance (by hours)

Power: 200-300 hours to change oil and filter element; 500 hours to change fuel/air filter (shorten in dusty environment); 1000 hours to check valve clearance and injector nozzle.

Transmission and traveling: change transmission/final drive gear oil in 1000-1500 hours; clean track links in 500 hours, check bearings in 1000 hours, and replace track pins and plates if they are worn out beyond the limit.

Hydraulics: change hydraulic oil and filter element in 2000 hours; check cylinder seals and tighten pipelines in 1000 hours.

Structural parts: 500 hours for surfacing the wear-resistant plate of bucket body; 1000 hours for checking the welded seam of frame and tightening bolts.

Third, special scenes and parking

After the harsh environment: flush the track and radiator, remove the mud and sand; spray antirust agent in high humidity environment.

Long-term parking: park in a dry place, relax the track, disconnect the negative pole of the battery; start idling every 2 weeks, and check the power every month.
